Edwin La Dell
Edwin La Dell (1914-1970) was a highly influential figure in British printmaking. and was Head of Printmaking at the Royal College of Art.
The Nightingale Project exhibition (at South Kensington and Chelsea MHC) focused on two groups of La Dell’s prints: one depicting the Kent countryside, where he lived, the other being his last and most experimental series of prints, arising from a trip to New York in 1967.
