Jane Ray is a prominent British illustrator, known especially for her picture books of folk tales and fairy stories. She is the UK’s illustrator nomination for the Hans Christian Andersen Awards 2018 – the most prestigious international awards in the field of children’s books.
The Nightingale Project invited Jane to produce a series of images for mental health wards in London. Her images were printed on vinyl and installed as full- height murals. The Project also presented an exhibition of her work created for this purpose at South Kensington and Chelsea Mental Health Centre (December 2016 to Easter 2017). At this exhibition we launched a series of five signed limited edition giclée prints, which are now for sale in aid of the Nightingale Project.
Each print is in a limited edition of 50 and is individually signed and numbered by the artist.
