Ian Beck

Ian Beck is a much loved writer and illustrator. He has illustrated over 60 children’s books, and has written many stories and novels for children of all ages including Butterfingers, The Disappearance of Tom Pile, The Secret History of Tom Trueheart, and Grey Island Red Boat. His books have been translated into many languages and are enjoyed around the world.

In 2012 the Nightingale Project commissioned Ian to produce a set of drawings for an older adults’ ward at Northwick Park Hospital, and this gave rise to this exquisite set of limited edition prints of the stars of classic films and music hall, such as Charlie Chaplin, Little Tich, Max Miller, Buster Keaton, Josephine Baker, Greta Garbo, and Marlene Dietrich.
All these prints are available signed and individually numbered by the artist. Every purchase supports the work of the Nightingale Project.
