Psychiatric Tales is a new book by Darryl Cunningham, who has both worked in the mental health care system and been a user of mental health services. He is a cartoonist, painter and sculptor, and this book is in the form of a graphic novel. It comprises eleven stories about mental illness, and helps to demystify and destigmatise mental illness. It is published by Blank Slate Books at £11.99 in the UK. (American edition forthcoming).
